Extremely Limited Edition from 2002 Very Low Number… 3 of 80 — #3! Extra-Large 14 Blown-Glass, Entirely Handcrafted Ornament. Created for Marshall Field’s Beloved State Street Walnut Room Christmas Tree. Here we have a very scarce, very desirable, very low numbered Christopher Radko Christmas tree ornament from a very limited edition — number 3 of 80, Angel of Mercy. Everything shown in the photos comes with this piece — the ornament, and all of the original pieces and parts — packing box, padded wrap, certificate of authenticity, and explanatory card. Vintage : extremely limited edition only ever produced once in this size, in the year 2002. Condition : Our photos are the most important part of our description. Please enlarge all of them and examine the details closely. Overall excellent vintage condition. We see no condition issues to the ornament itself other than a spot of discoloration on the very bottom that, due to the incredibly reflective qualities of the sterling silver lined glass, isn’t very noticeable. The collage photo shows the bottom from the bottom and from the front, and the arrow points out the spot. Bright and shiny piece, fresh and clean, with no chips, cracks or scratches. There is hot glue residue on the metal hanger. These were the only glass ornaments ever hung from the very family-friendly Walnut Room’s Big Tree, so for safety reasons, the hangers were hot-glued to the ornaments. The certificate of authenticity states #3 of 80, and explains the special history of this collection. It, and the explanatory card, have light shelf wear. The box is the original one produced for these jumbo ornaments, and it is plain white, with no Radko print. It is in excellent condition with some light shelf wear. We consider funky odors (cigarette smoke, mildew, etc) to be an important part of a condition report. Corndogcache is a 100% non-smoking environment, and we’ll let you know if any of our vintage items smell like it (or anything else) from activities they may have been involved in before they came to us. Approximate measurements : 14-ish. Don’t ask why. We don’t know why. If this happens to you, stop, do not pay.
