This is the 1997 “Maidens Fair and Bright” design ornament, serial number 97-421-0 and stands a magnificent 10.5 tall. The ornament is designed as a’Renaissance lady’, dressed in an overall violet and silver outfit… Her body is shaped as a long bulb with arms that hold her beautiful violet boa… The body of the dress is colored with violet and silver and has wonderful applied pearl embellishments. Her fair hair sits in a twist under her tall silver hat embellished with a silver ribbon… Around her waist, her outfit is further embellished with violet feathers and a violet and silver boa… The ornament is further decorated with the unmistakeable Radko glitter….. Her expression is smiling and she’s absolutely magnificent, with her pink and blushing cheeks.. The ornament is in perfect condition, with no chips, cracks flakes or damage of any kind. These pieces come to you from my personal collection of Radko ornaments.. I’ve collected these wonderful pieces for decades and have decided to part with some of the theme pieces, focusing on my Santas for now… I have a number of fabulous Halloween ornaments, Italian Ladies and Tree Toppers that will be listed. This ornament was hung from my dining room chandelier for 4 years, and does not retain her original paper tags… She is part of a collection of elegant ladies and they are all now in need of a new home.. My ornaments are all either stored in their original boxes, in a temperature controlled room in my smoke free home, or in unbleached cotton wrapping to protect them..
